Next Update Kathrein will have Disec 1.1

From our direct contact with Kathrein we have been informed of DiSEqC 1.1 in the next firmware.

Here is an extract from recent email:-

we are right now working on getting DiSEqC 1.1 in with the next software update.
That should be available in about 6 weeks apparently.
Then DiSEqC 1.2 will come. I haven't received any dat for that yet, but have talked again with
product management on this - and have been promised a quick reply. It is in any case 'only' a
case of software updating.

I hope this is the news you have all been waiting for, I only posted this today
after i read the article about the "new firmware details leaked"

עד כמה שידוע לי, אין הבדל בחומרה של ממיר בין דייסק 1.0 1.1 ו 1.2, זה רק בתוכנה
נראה לי שזה רק עניין של זמן עד שיהיה גם 1.2

מאוד פשוט .

חברת קטריין צריכה לשלם "תמלוגים" ברגע שהיא משלבת את התקן 1.1 ו-1.2 בממירים שהיא מייצרת.
מסיבה דומה חברת דרים מולטימדיה מעכבת את הייצור של ה-8000, היות והיא לא ביצעה רישוי כנדרש לתקן HDMI, וזאת הסיבה שהיא השיקה את הממיר בתערכות השונות עם חיבור DVI בלבד.

לא נראה לי שב 900 אירו לממיר קשה להם לשלם תמלוגים ל HDMI
