KDG רוכשת את חבילת HD של SKY הגרמנית

Germany’s largest cable operator, Kabel Deutschland (KDG), is now offering Sky Deutschland’s complete HDTV package on its networks.

Until now, only Sky Sport HD and Discovery HD were available on KDG’s networks, but will now be joined by Sky Cinema HD, Eurosport HD, Disney Cinemagic HD, National Geographic HD and History HD. After Kabel BW, KDG is the second of Germany’s three large cable operators to carry the complete HD package offered by Sky, making it available to a total of 60% of all cable households in Germany.


“This agreement constitutes a genuine added value for our many customers who receive us over Kabel Deutschland because from now on, they will be able to enjoy our complete unrivalled HD service,” said Mark Williams, CEO of Sky Deutschland, in Munich. “We are in talks with a number of other cable operators in order to offer our customers who are using these cable networks all of our HD channels.”
